”I’m a great sinner and Christ is a great Savior.” I love that quote from the character John Newton in the movie “Amazing Grace”. For me, those two great truths are my ground and the reminder I need to keep everything in perspective.

I’ve been married 25+ years to the most wonderful woman in the world (she has to be to put up with me). I’m also dad to two adult children who are so amazing; I am so proud of them, not just for what they do, but for who they are. I think they take after their mom…

I enjoy theology and theological discussions – which for me is incorporated into just about most subjects. Also have an interest in history (mostly ancient and medieval), and etymology. Yeah, I know…sounds pretty exciting , doesn’t it? I love humor of all kinds, bicycling with my wife, and just being with good friends.

I have the privilege of serving in the Church and working with some awesome people. I love being with young people and having the opportunity to help them see God at work in their lives. It’s challenging and trying at times, but still an awesome privilege.
